 The Children’s Treble Honor Choir is for young singers, ages 10-15, whose voices have not yet changed. Caravel Academy has been fortunate enough to have students selected to this Honor Choir every year for the past 11 years! For more information: www.acdavoicesunited.org

Caravel's Michai Wilkerson as the first soloist!!! 

Voices United brings together nationally recognized leaders in choral music education, regional leaders, and directors of choirs from elementary to adult representing Virginia, Maryland/DC, and Delaware for three days of learning and doing. ACDA conferences combine interest sessions with hands-on demonstrations of teaching and conducting as each headliner works with an ensemble over the course of the conference, resulting in a performance of Honor Choirs the final day.

Audition Material

You must prepare your scale and the song 'My Country Tis of Thee'. The scale and song MUST be recorded a cappella. The following recordings are the practice tracks so that you can prepare for your audition. You will not be able to sing along with the recording when you audition but we are able to record it as many times as you would like until you are satisfied with your  recording before we submit it. I will be posting a sign up genius for you to schedule your audition times with me on Tuesday, April 30th & Thursday, May 2nd after school. Audition slots will be in 15 minute intervals.
