WINTER CONCERT: Tuesday, December 11th 6:30pm-7:30pm
The Lower School students all take part in our Winter Fine Arts Festival Holiday Concert. The Lower School Winter Fine Arts Festival includes all students in first through fourth grade. All four grades will combine to sing holiday selections, fourth graders will play recorder selections, our Little Bucs Elementary Chorus will perform and our Beginning Band students will play as well. The students have been working extremely hard to prepare another great musical program for their families. This is an important tradition in the Caravel Lower School community. Performance opportunities encourage expression, creativity, and self-confidence. Participation in Fine Arts is a small component of their second marking period music grade. Details:
To go along with our holiday theme, students do not need to wear dress code uniforms. Students can wear a dress or dress pants and a dress shirt. We are not asking anyone to go out and purchase anything new. Students may wear Santa/Elf hats or headbands. Please do not have your child wear anything that lights up, makes noise or is so large that it would obstruct the views of other children being seen.
Please have your child in their homeroom at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 11th.
The show will begin at 6:30 p.m. when students walk into the Gym with their class.
At the conclusion of the show, we ask that you remain seated until all children have returned safely to their classrooms. Parents must pick children up from their homeroom after the show.
The Music Boosters will have a concession table available before and after the show. Out of respect for the student performers, concessions will NOT be sold during the performance.
