High School students have the opportunity to chose to be a student aide in various departments throughout the school as an elective class.  Many music students choose to be Music Student Aides for band, choir or our Preschool Program so they can work closer mentoring younger students enrolled in music classes and assist the teachers with maintaining our music libraries, creating and hanging bulletin boards, making copies, designing flyers, etc. This is an especially great program for students considering going into all aspects of education in the future, not just music education. Student Aide is an elective, which permits a student to work as a “Teacher’s Helper” or as an office assistant.  Being a student aide helps students develop a sense of responsibility, leadership, and supervision skills.  Students who wish to be a student aide for the entire year must first contact Mrs. Busovsky, Mr. Forney, or Ms. Boone to check availability and then email [email protected] to have it added to your schedule.This class is being offered as pass/fail and is 1/2 for a semester or 1 credit for the full year.
