Selected musicians will have the opportunity to study under master conductors, interact with accomplished peers, enjoy the excitement of New York City and/or Sydney, and ultimately perform at a world-renowned venue. In its history, the Honors Performance Series has featured students from every US state, several Canadian provinces, and countries across Europe, Central/South America, Asia, and the Middle East. Your students have stood out at the regional and state levels – now is their opportunity to distinguish themselves on an international stage!
The Honors Performance Series was established to showcase the finest young musicians, selected from an international pool of applicants, through the exclusive opportunity to perform in world-famous Carnegie Hall. Selected Finalists are chosen through application and selection processes, allowing the most talented and dedicated musicians to take part in this opportunity. Selected Finalists take part in a once-in-a-lifetime musical performance experience:
Perform in the exclusive Honors Performance at Carnegie Hall
Study under master conductors (see our website for examples)
Rehearse and interact with peers from across the world
See a Broadway show, explore Times Square, and experience the excitement of the Big Apple
High school and young adult musicians additionally have the opportunity to apply for a special performance opportunity at Sydney Opera House in August 2019; more information is on our website. We are additionally thrilled to announce that we will be expanding on the heritage of our Carnegie Hall program for middle school students at Royal Festival Hall at Southbank Centre in London, England next summer!
