After graduating from Caravel in 2015, Mr. Forney earned his Bachelor of Science in Music Education from the University of Delaware in 2020. He began his teaching career at Caravel just after graduating, teaching music to Middle School and EEC students. Professionally:

 Mr. Forney instructs Caravel's instrumental ensembles, including Jazz and Marching Band, and teaches music lessons to: brass, woodwind, and percussion players of any age; singers of any age and style. Elementary lessons (Lower-Middle School) for piano, ukulele, guitar, and orchestral string players.
