Examples of appropriate performance attire: 

Both Chorus and Band students are required to wear a maroon Caravel  long or short sleeved polo shirt (which needs to be purchased through Lands End or other approved vendor, chest logo of your choice), Caravel Academy dress code approved black bottoms (pants or skirt) and black shoes to all performances unless otherwise indicated. (​Dress shoes are preferred however, ALL black sneakers, black dress sandals, or black boots are acceptable. Girls should be aware that they will be standing for a period of time so flats are preferred to heels)  Patterned tights may not be worn under skirts and should only be black. Jewelry and hair accessories should be kept simple and not stand out. Belts should also be black and not 'crazy' colors. See our performance dress code pictures below.  Capri pants or flip-flops are not acceptable performance attire. Students not dressed appropriately will lose 5 points from their concert grade for each dress code infraction.

Boys should wear black 'school dress code' pants, black belt, black shoes, black socks, maroon polo (long or short-sleeved, any CA approved logo)

Girls can  also wear black 'school dress code' pants, black belt, black shoes (dress shoes & boots are both acceptable), black socks, maroon polo (long or short-sleeved, any CA approved logo)

Featured: Knee length black skirt and maroon polo with CA approved logo. Girls should wear black tights or leggings or skin toned tights. Please no pattern or colored leggings.

Examples of appropriate park attire:

If we are attending a competition, students will be permitted to change into comfortable clothing after the competition is complete. Students will then wear their competition t-shirt (provided each year by the teacher), comfortable bottoms (jeans and shorts are acceptable at this time however, they must be in compliance with the school dress code rules) and comfortable shoes.
