Junior Bucs Chorus meets two times per week as an academic class. Chorus is a class AND and activity! Students will learn to sing music of different styles, genres, and languages. Students will learn the fundamentals of reading music. Students will continue to learn about proper vocal technique. Chorus members will be exposed to many different performance opportunities throughout the course of the semester. Students will receive small graded assignments to help reinforce music theory and vocal performance. Students are required to perform in our two school concerts (in December and May), our Tree Trim Ceremony (December) and our annual Music Competition (May). Students are also offered various vocal opportunities throughout the year that they can choose to audition for or participate in such as local, regional and national honor choirs, camps, musicals, etc. (To see more offerings, select "Mrs. Busovsky" and "Other Vocal Opportunities" to see some of the events offered.) Being a part of the Junior Bucs Chorus is exactly like being on an athletic team! We need all of our members to work together so we can perform at our very best! Best of all.... we are one BIG family!!!! To learn more about our competitions: www.camusicboosters.com/5th-8th-grade-music-in-the-parks-competitions.html#/
